Salted Caramel Pecan Crepes

Salted Caramel Crepes. This pancake says ‘There’s no such thing as being too much of a sweetiepie’. Making your own sugared pecans is easy and is just the finishing touch to show how much you care. This is the perfect pancake for catching up with your bestie.


Serves 2

For the Sugared Pecans

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 50g Pecans
  • 1 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
  • For the Salted Caramel Sauce
  • 35g Butter
  • 25g Light Brown Sugar
  • 25g Caster Sugar
  • 60ml Double Cream
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Large Crepes or 4 Small Crepes (Hot or Cold)


To Make your Sugared Pecans

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat
  • Add the pecans and stir until coated
  • Add the sugar and mix well
  • Give the pecans a few minutes on the heat to allow the sugar to dissolve a little
  • Cool on greaseproof paper

To Make your Salted Caramel

  • Melt the butter and sugar in a pan over a medium heat
  • Allow the mixture to simmer and thicken slightly, stirring occasionally
  • Add the double cream and salt and mix well


  • To serve, pour the salted caramel sauce over freshly made crepes and sprinkle with sugared pecans
